Star Cards（繁星字卡）是給小朋友用的親子認字 App，對象大約 2.5 至 6 歲。App 裡家長可選的年齡是 3 歲或以下、3–4 歲，或 4 歲以上。這不是出生日期，也不是小朋友的姓名。沒有兒童帳號。套件識別碼是 app.yuebun.sikzi。
這份政策只描述這個版本的程式實際做的事。我們不從這款 App 收集個人資料。
我們收集什麼
沒有第三方分析，沒有第三方廣告，沒有帳號，也沒有 App 伺服器。沒有任何資料傳給我們，也沒有傳給第三方。我們沒有付款伺服器。
隨 App 附上的私隱清單（PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy）寫明：不追蹤、追蹤網域是空的、收集的資料類型是空的。唯一申報的必要原因 API 是 UserDefaults（原因 CA92.1），用來把 App 自己的設定存在這部裝置。
程式裡沒有廣告 SDK、沒有第三方分析或崩潰回報、沒有廣告識別碼（IDFA），也不會要求追蹤許可。這個版本不會從 App 裡打開網站。
只存在這部裝置的資料
這部 iPhone 的 UserDefaults 記住家長設定、年齡段（3 歲或以下、3–4 歲，或 4 歲以上；不是出生日期，也不是姓名）、學習進度、每日免費題數，以及叮叮字字車進度（鍵名 yuebun.wordtram.progress）。這些都留在這部裝置。
設定與學習進度（鍵名 yuebun-sikzi-state-v2）包括：是否完成第一次設定、年齡段、畫面文字（繁體、簡體或英文）、朗讀語音、每次大約玩幾張、是否只看圖不朗讀、看過哪些字、未完成的一局、今日星星和重玩紀錄、ABC、數字、顏色和字卡進度、家長選擇的意向和所在地區、每日免費題數，以及這部裝置上 Pro 是否已開的本地標記。每日免費題數記的是安裝日、目前的本地日期，以及當天完成了多少項。購買是否仍然有效，以這部裝置上的 Apple StoreKit 為準，不是以那個本地標記為準。
叮叮字字車進度記住哪些目錄字卡已經上車、複習安排、搭過幾次、今天的小結（只是目錄字卡編號，不是錄音）、家長有沒有開啟「講個字叫醒乘客」，以及鈴鐺會不會輪換語言。
這個版本不會寫入 yuebun.playland.progress。如果以前的安裝留下這個鍵，刪除本機進度時仍然會清掉。
App 不會詢問兒童的姓名、電郵或電話。Info.plist 沒有相機或定位的用途說明。App 不用相機或定位。
咪高峰和語音辨識只在家長開啟「講個字叫醒乘客」之後使用。辨識強制在裝置上（requiresOnDeviceRecognition）。聲音不會儲存，也不會上傳。如果裝置上不能做離線辨識，就不會開始聆聽。
家人相片：一張家人卡一張相片。App 存成 1024 像素的 JPEG，沒有 EXIF，也沒有 GPS，放在 Application Support/family-photos。這個資料夾排除 iCloud 備份。相片不會上傳。
家長可以在家長設定把今天的叮叮字字車小結存進這部裝置的相簿，或交給系統分享表。App 不會上傳。
語音
朗讀在裝置上完成，不會上傳。字卡粵語可以播放包在 App 裡的預錄聲音檔（工作室合成，不是現場人聲）。普通話和英語使用 iPhone 自己的語音（AVSpeechSynthesizer）。播放這些聲音不會用咪高峰。
購買
付款由 Apple 處理。我們收不到信用卡號碼、帳單地址或其他付款資料。
現正發售的是自動續訂：一年 app.yuebun.sikzi.pro.yearly，一個月 app.yuebun.sikzi.pro.monthly。沒有試用。訂閱會一直續期，直到你在 Apple 取消。舊的終身產品 app.yuebun.sikzi.pro.lifetime 已不再發售；如果 Apple 仍然承認舊收據，該收據仍然可以開啟 Pro。
唯一會自動連網的是 Apple 的 StoreKit，用來查訂閱價錢、完成購買、還原購買，以及打開訂閱管理。App 收不到付款卡資料。那是 Apple 的服務。價錢問不到時，畫面留空。
家長閘

兒童私隱
美國《兒童線上私隱保護法》（COPPA）：我們不向兒童收集個人資料。沒有兒童帳號，沒有廣告，沒有行為廣告，也沒有第三方追蹤。購買由家長經 Apple 完成。
配合 Apple 兒童類別的做法：購買和家長功能在家長閘後面，沒有第三方廣告或分析，這個版本沒有從 App 連出網站。這份政策並不表示 Apple 已經把 App 核定為兒童類別。
香港《個人資料（私隱）條例》（第 486 章）：App 不把個人資料傳給我們，所以我們並不持有從 App 收集到的兒童個人資料。如果你用下面的電郵或 GitHub Issues 聯絡我們，你送出的內容是你自己選擇提供的資料。電郵由收件的電郵服務保存；GitHub Issues 由 GitHub 按其條款保存。請盡量不要在電郵或議題裡寫兒童的全名或其他個人資料。
怎樣刪除資料
- 在 App 裡：主頁齒輪、通過家長閘、打開家長設定，再按「刪除本機進度」。App 會再問一次家長閘，然後刪除本機的 UserDefaults 資料、任何留下的
yuebun.playland.progress，以及家人相片檔，並回到歡迎畫面。
- 刪除 App：從 iPhone 刪除 Star Cards，本機資料會隨 App 一起刪除。
家長可以刪除這部裝置上的資料。這不會取消 Apple 訂閱。清除本機進度之後，App 會再向 Apple 查詢這部裝置的購買資格。同一個 Apple ID 如果仍然擁有訂閱，Pro 可以再次顯示為已開啟。要停止付費，請在 Apple 的訂閱項目裡取消。做法寫在支援頁。

Star Cards is a parent-and-child word-card app for young children, about 2.5 to 6 years old. Inside the app, a parent chooses an age band of 3 or under, 3–4, or 4 and up. That is not a birth date or the child’s name. There is no child account. The bundle identifier is app.yuebun.sikzi.
This policy describes only what this version of the app actually does. We do not collect personal data from the app.
What we collect
There is no third-party analytics, no third-party ads, no account, and no app server. Nothing is sent to us or to a third party. We do not run a payment server.
The privacy manifest shipped in the app (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) says tracking is off, the tracking-domain list is empty, and the collected-data list is empty. The only declared required-reason API is UserDefaults (reason CA92.1), used to keep the app’s own settings on the device.
The code has no advertising SDK, no third-party analytics or crash reporting, and no advertising identifier (IDFA). It does not ask for tracking permission. This version does not open websites from inside the app.
What stays on the device
On-device UserDefaults keeps parent settings, the age band (3 or under, 3–4, or 4 and up; not a birth date or a name), learning progress, the daily free-play count, and Word Tram progress (key yuebun.wordtram.progress). Those stay on the device.
Settings and learning progress (key yuebun-sikzi-state-v2) include: whether first-run setup is done, the age band, the on-screen script (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, or English), the speaking voice, about how many cards in a session, whether pictures play without speech, which cards have been seen, an unfinished round, today’s stars and replay record, ABC, number, colour, and word-card progress, the parent’s intent and home-region choices, the daily free-play count, and a local flag that Pro is on for this device. The daily free-play count is the install day, the current local day, and how many items were finished that day. Whether a purchase is still valid comes from Apple StoreKit on the device, not from that local flag.
Word Tram progress remembers which catalog cards have boarded, a review schedule, the ride count, today’s recap as catalog card ids (not a recording), whether speak-to-wake is on, and whether the bell cycles language.
This version does not write yuebun.playland.progress. Delete local progress still removes that old key if a previous install left it.
The app does not ask for a child’s name, email, or phone number. Info.plist has no camera or location purpose strings. The app does not use the camera or location.
The microphone and speech recognition are used only after a parent turns on “say a word to wake a passenger.” Recognition is forced on-device (requiresOnDeviceRecognition). Audio is not saved and not uploaded. If on-device recognition is unavailable, listening does not start.
Family photos: one photo per card, saved as a 1024-pixel JPEG with no EXIF and no GPS, in Application Support/family-photos. That folder is excluded from iCloud backup. The photo is not uploaded.
From Parent settings, a parent may save today’s Word Tram recap into Photos on this device, or hand it to the system share sheet. The app does not upload it.
Speech
Speech stays on the device and is not uploaded. Cantonese on the word cards can play a sound file shipped inside the app (a studio pre-record, not a live person). Putonghua and English use the iPhone’s own voice (AVSpeechSynthesizer). Playing those sounds does not use the microphone.
Purchases
Apple processes the payment. We do not receive card numbers, billing addresses, or other payment details.
What is for sale now is an auto-renewing subscription: yearly app.yuebun.sikzi.pro.yearly, and monthly app.yuebun.sikzi.pro.monthly. There is no trial. The subscription keeps renewing until you cancel it with Apple. The older lifetime product app.yuebun.sikzi.pro.lifetime is no longer for sale. If Apple still honours an old receipt, that receipt can still turn Pro on.
The only automatic network use is Apple StoreKit, for the subscription price, a purchase, restore, and manage. The app does not receive card data. That is Apple’s service. If the price does not come back, the page stays blank.
Parent gate
Before the actions below, the app shows an addition sum. A parent adds two single digits. The sum is at least 10, so one digit is never enough. After a correct answer, tap OK.
- Opening Parent settings from the gear on the home screen. That answer can be reused for ordinary screen changes for about 90 seconds.
- Opening the paywall, buying, restoring purchases, or managing the subscription.
- Opening the in-app terms and privacy page.
- Deleting progress on this device.
Purchase, restore, the paywall, manage subscription, terms, privacy, and delete progress each ask again. They do not reuse the 90 seconds.
Children’s privacy
COPPA (United States): we do not collect personal information from children. There is no child account, no advertising, no behavioural advertising, and no third-party tracking. A parent makes a purchase through Apple.
Practices aimed at Apple’s Kids category: purchases and parent controls sit behind the parent gate, there are no third-party ads or analytics, and this version does not link out to websites. This policy does not mean Apple has already approved the app in the Kids category.
Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486): the app does not send personal data to us, so we do not hold a child’s personal data collected from the app. If you contact us by the email or GitHub Issues link below, what you send is data you choose to give. Email is kept by the mail service that receives it. GitHub Issues are kept by GitHub under GitHub’s terms. Please do not put a child’s full name, or other personal details, in an email or an issue if you can avoid it.
How to delete data
- In the app: the gear on the home screen, pass the parent gate, open Parent settings, then tap “Delete progress on this device”. The app asks the parent gate again, then deletes the on-device UserDefaults data, any leftover
yuebun.playland.progress key, and the family-photo files, and returns to the welcome screen.
- Delete the app: removing Star Cards from the iPhone removes the local data with it.
A parent can delete the on-device data. That does not cancel the Apple subscription. After local progress is cleared, the app asks Apple again whether this device still has a purchase. If the same Apple ID still owns the subscription, Pro can show as on again. To stop paying, cancel in Apple’s subscription list. The steps are on the support page.
